Twin City Joint Fire Command

In September of 2013 Sterling and Rock Falls Fire Departments merged their command structure to become the Twin City Joint Fire Command.  Although the fire departments share their command they remain independant of each other.  The Twin City Joint Fire Command consists of Chief Gary Cook, Deputy Chief North Michael Dettman and Deputy Chief South Bill Milby.  The merger is not only saving money, it is enabling the combined forces to provide the best service whenever it’s needed.
